U21s v Hull City U21s

A look ahead to Tuesday’s Professional Under 23 Development League fixture as Posh travel north to Hull as Ryan Semple’s side look to build on their start to the new campaign (2pm).

Peterborough United Under 21s visit Hull City Under 21s on Tuesday afternoon in their next Professional Development League test with Ryan Semple's men looking to bounce back following defeat last time out.

Last Monday, Posh suffered defeat away at Crewe Alexandra with the Railwaymen scoring twice in the second half to claim the three points.

Tuesday’s opponents Hull will look to continue their strong start to the season which has seen them take 15 points from the opening eight games. They currently sit third in the table. Last time out they scored an impressive 4-0 win against Coventry and come off the back of two successive victories in the league.

FROM THE MANAGER

Coach Ryan Semple has confirmed that the squad for Tuesday’s game will be similar to the one he had at his disposal last week.

Speaking ahead of the game Semple said: “We are looking forward to the game, it is a good chance for players to take their opportunities and hopefully we can get back to winning ways. It will be a real good test, having watched their past three games, I’ve seen them play a good brand of football and lots of ideas. It will be a good challenge for us.”
