Sophie Scargill will be in the matchday squad having been unavailable for the last few fixtures.
From The Gaffer
“Leafield is a new game but naturally the performance in the cup is on my mind still, we need to write the wrongs that we made. We’re not the finished article; there is very much work to be done. I want to see us do what we are good at on Sunday. We can’t focus too much on league positions. Leafield is going to be a tough test at the weekend. No team wants to be down the bottom of the table; so we fully expect them to fight for the three points. It all depends what happens on the day; all we can do is defend the ball in our box and take the chances that we have and hopefully we get the three points.
One To Watch
Forward Sarah Hazell will be looking to cause problems for the Posh defence as she is Leafield’s top scorer having netted five times in 14 games this season; including twice in their 3-1 victory of Boldmere St Michael’s in September.
Last Time Out
Posh secured four points against Leafield Athletic during the 2022/23 campaign; having initially recorded a stalemate away before securing a 3-0 win at the Abbey Lawn. Tara Kirk netted a brace that afternoon, with Jess Driscoll also on the scoresheet.
