Posh Women travel to the Midlands on Sunday afternoon.
Peterborough United Women are set to travel to the Dickens Health Sports Club on Sunday afternoon (2pm) as they face Leafield Athletic in the FA Women’s National League Division One Midlands.
Dan Lawlor’s side will look to get back to winning ways after two defeats on the bounce, but remain in the top half of the table and just three points off the top. Leafield Athletic have enjoyed a fantastic start to the season and are unbeaten in three games in the National League, putting them in third in the table, one point ahead of Posh.

Zaiga Lacite is set to be involved once again as she continues a return to full fitness. Emily Johnson, who recently signed from Yaxley Phoenix Ladies for Posh Women Development Squad, will be part of the squad on Sunday.
Leafield Athletic’s Jessica Lowe will be a dangerous threat to Posh after four goals and five assists in five appearances.
From The Gaffer
“We’re not going into the game in massive form, but it will be interesting to see how we bounce back after another loss. It’s a really tough league. Everyone is beating everyone at the minute, and there have been some really strange results, so you can’t go into any game thinking you could win today.
“If we’re at it, we can beat anyone in this league, and that’s the scary thing. We just have to go there and concentrate on ourselves and get ourselves out of the little bad run that we’re under.
