League action takes a pause on Tuesday (1pm) as Peterborough United face the Robins for a place in the PDL Cup Final.

In the group phase, our development side topped their group following equal success over both Luton Town and Ipswich Town, adding to the point picked up at Mansfield Town.

From there, our youngsters booked their place in the final four of the competition following a well-battled victory over Swindon Town – with Bolu Shofowoke (3) and Andre Changunda coming up with our goals on the day.

Cheltenham Town, meanwhile, claimed a spot in the semi-finals with a 2-1 victory over Barnsley.

FROM THE MANAGER

“We always look forward to a game of football, and it adds a bit more value to it because it’s a semi-final and a chance to get to a final which would be a good reward for the boys who have played a lot of games this season and done quite well in terms of personal performances so fingers-crossed they can pull it together on Tuesday,” Professional Development Phase (Under 18s) Lead Coach Jimmy Unwin said.
