Peterborough United Under 21s are back in Professional Development League action on Wednesday afternoon (1pm) with Crewe Alexandra making the trip down south.
Posh Under 21s will be looking to bounce back from Tuesday’s defeat to Burnley when they host the young Alex’s in their latest Professional Development League test.
Kamarni Ryan capped a dominant display for the Clarets last time out, who continued to keep up the pressure on leaders Sheffield United in the northern section.
Crewe Alexandra will be looking to build on the foundations from midweek when they picked up their first share of the points since late October.
Our Under 21s will be looking for a better performance from the last meeting with Wednesday’s opponents, which saw Luca Mooron target in a comfortable victory for Crewe.

“Burnley was a disappointing performance, and the result reflected large parts of that. There are certain things we have to be better at, but it’s all part of the learning and if we do that as a collective tomorrow, we’ll see an improvement. We’re looking forward to it, and we’re looking to put certain things right with and without the ball so if we stick to that then we can look forward to a positive performance,” Lead Professional Development Phase Lead Coach Ryan Semple said.
