Posh Under 21s are back in action on Tuesday afternoon as they host unbeaten league leaders Sheffield United at the idverde Training Ground (1pm).
Peterborough United Under 21s look to make it three straight wins on Tuesday, however they face a stern test against table toppers Sheffield United.
Last time out, a goal in the final few moments from defender Noah Freeman secured an excellent 3-2 victory. Despite the victory, Posh were made to work hard for the three points, having come from behind late on in the game to make it five wins from nine so far this season.
Tuesday’s opposition, Sheffield United travel in tremendous form been unbeaten so far this season and will be looking to keep the good times rolling when they visit idverde Training Ground. Last time out, the Blades did well to keep their streak going as they fought back late of with goals from Harry Boyes and Jevan Beattie helping them to a 2-2 draw away at Birmingham City.

Defender Rio Adebisi could feature for 45 minutes as he continues his rehabilitation from a long-term injury. David Kamara could also feature after a short injury lay-off, while Tyler Young is expected to return after suspension.

Speaking ahead of the game Lead Professional Development Coach Ryan Semple said: “It will be a tough game on Tuesday but it’s one we are looking forward to, we go into the game with some decent form from our past few performances and results so we will look to continue this against Sheffield United. Sheffield United are a group who are always strong and I’m sure Tuesday will be no different but regardless we are confident that we can cause them problems, in turn leading to a positive performance.”
