A look ahead to the Vertu Trophy quarter-final tie with Cheltenham Town at the Weston Homes Stadium on Wednesday evening (7pm).
Peterborough United welcome Sky Bet League Two side Cheltenham Town to the Weston Homes Stadium in the quarter-finals of the Vertu Trophy on Wednesday evening (7pm) with Darren Ferguson's men knowing that a victory against the Robins would take them just one game away from Wembley Stadium.
Posh have won every game in the competition so far this season and progressed to the quarter-finals following victory over Walsall.
Wednesday night's tie has to be played to a finish with penalties available if the game is level after 90 minutes.

Posh are without the services of Kwame Poku and Rio Adebisi, but defender Emmanuel Fernandez is available again after completing concussion protocol.
Jadel Katongo is expected to be on the sidelines for at least six weeks with a hamstring injury sustained in the warm-down after defeat to Bristol Rovers on Sunday. Carl Johnston, Sam Hughes and Tayo Edun are all cup-tied.

"We know that a win against Cheltenham will take us just one game from Wembley, but Cheltenham are a good side, they have been in decent form of late and have some good players. I have watched a few of their games and Kieran (Scarff) went to watch them on Saturday. There are a few changes we will have to make, at least four due to three being cup-tied and of course Jadel injured, but that presents opportunities for others," Darren Ferguson said.

GEORGE MILLER
The Robins completed the signing of forward George Miller (pictured below) from League Two rivals Doncaster Rovers on the eve of the 2024/25 season.
Miller impressed in the fourth tier and signed for Rovers off the back of scoring 12 goals for Walsall in the 2021/22 campaign. In his debut campaign for Doncaster the following season the Englishman registered 16 goal involvements in 32 league starts.
However, Miller joined the Robins only playing in four matches across all competitions during the 2023/24 campaign after he suffered a long-term knee injury.
Born in Bolton, Miller came through as a youngster with Bury before moving to Middlesborough in 2017, however just a year later he returned to the Shakers on loan, scoring eight times in 19 appearances.
The striker has also enjoyed spells with Barnsley, Scunthorpe and twice with Bradford City.
