A look ahead to Saturday's Sky Bet League One clash with Lincoln City at the Weston Homes Stadium (3pm).
Peterborough United welcome Lincoln City to PE2 on Saturday afternoon with Darren Ferguson's men going in search of their first win at the Weston Homes Stadium following defeats to strong opposition in Huddersfield Town and Wrexham.
Posh go into the game on the back of a win in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy at Gillingham while the Imps were beaten in the same competition by Chesterfield at the LNER Stadium. Both teams were without a game last week due to the international break.
TEAM NEWS
Posh welcome Sam Curtis, George Nevett and Hector Kyprianou back from international duty with all three featuring for their countries over the last seven days. Curtis scored for the Republic of Ireland Under 21s and featured in both games for the full 90 minutes, Nevett played a full game for Wales under 19s and came on as a substitute for 20 minutes in the other, while Kyprianou played two 45 minutes for Cyprus in the Nations League.
Ryan De Havilland is making good progress from his injury and is now back on the grass, but Rio Adebisi and Manchester City loanee Mahamadou Susoho are both out.
Lincoln will remain without the services of long-term injury absentees Ethan Hamilton and Reeco Hackett. Ben House, who has scored two league goals this season, is expected to start in attack alongside Jovon Makama once again.
ONE TO WATCH
Tom Bayliss
Exciting attacking midfielder Tom Bayliss became the third signing in the summer of 2024, joining on Friday 21 June. The Englishman joined the Imps with over 180 EFL appearances to his name after previously being at Coventry City, Preston North End, Wigan Athletic and Shrewsbury Town.
Creative midfielder Bayliss has also made appearances on the international stage after playing twice for England under 19 in 2018.
MANAGER QUOTES
"Lincoln haven't changed much in their approach from last season and why would they because they had an excellent campaign and only just missed out on the play-offs. For us, we know our home form needs to improve. We have worked this week on a number of things that we think we will expect on Saturday," Darren Ferguson said.
