From The Gaffer
Under 23s Manager, Michael Allesbrook says, “It’s going to be a real challenge for the girls against the most effective team both in and out of possession in the league. However, it provides another fantastic opportunity to showcase how far we have come as a team. We went there a few months ago and didn’t perform as well as we would have like, but we feel we have made improvements in all areas since then. We have shown that we can rise to the occasion when the pressure is on.
“I’m sure it will be a fantastic game of football and one where we want to put on a good performance to continue our momentum. People talk about points and league places but at this stage it’s about finding our levels of consistency in performances so that will be our main focus on Sunday.”
