Posh Women Under 23s host The Royals on Sunday afternoon.
Peterborough United Women Under 23s host Sutton Coldfield Town Development at the idverde Training Ground on Sunday afternoon (3pm) in their latest FA Women’s National League Reserves Midlands Division fixture.
Posh continued their recent run of good form with a 3-1 victory against Sporting Khalsa Reserves in PE2 last weekend, with Rebecca Mears, Jess Abrantes and Alice Akinyemi on the scoresheet.
Visitors Sutton Coldfield Town Development have enjoyed a mixed start to the season with four wins and three losses from their opening seven fixtures. They most recently travelled to Doncaster Rovers Belles Development in the middle of October and recorded a 4-1 win.

Under 23s Coach, John Currall confirmed that Alicia Podd is doubtful following the hip injury she sustained in the first half of last weekend’s victory against Sporting Khalsa Reserves, whilst Lauren King is unavailable for the fixture.
Holly Payton is current top scorer for the Royals’ with five goals in seven matches, one more than her total goals’ tally for last season.

Currall said: “We know it’s going to be a tough test on Sunday but we are going into the game full of confidence and on the back of some really positive performances and results in recent weeks. We want to keep the momentum going; the spirit in the group is really good at the moment.
“The girls’ are really working hard on and off the ball, and the performances are starting to reflect that. We had a good training session in the week and the girls’ are raring to go for Sunday.”
