The football club invited match referee Robert Madley to take a look at the playing surface at the Weston Homes Stadium on Saturday morning (10am) and he has confirmed that there are no issues and the Sky Bet League One fixture with Portsmouth will go ahead as planned.
The club had no concerns over the pitch, but given the late postponement of the fixture with Charlton Athletic last week, wanted to make sure all precautions were taken. Local Championship referee Josh Smith also took a look at the playing surface on Friday and also raised no concerns.
Tickets for the clash with Portsmouth, the first game at the Weston Homes Stadium back in charge for Darren Ferguson, remain on sale at www.theposhtickets.com. The club have also decided to keep ticket prices at the advanced discount for this fixture.
