Keir Perkins presented with a trophy ahead of the Plymouth Argyle fixture.
Peterborough United Women's forward and captain Keir Perkins was presented with a trophy to recognise her achievement of reaching 150 goals for the club ahead of the men's Plymouth Argyle fixture on Saturday afternoon.
Posh Women General Manager, Bobby Copping, handed her the trophy and she was joined by some of her fellow teammates, family and friends, and her sponsor. The forward reached 150 goals earlier this month in the 9-1 victory over AFC Rushden & Diamonds in the Northants FA County Cup and becomes the club’s second-highest goalscorer in all competitions.
Copping said: “A massive congratulations to Keir for reaching another milestone for the club and we wanted to recognise this by handing her a trophy in front of the wider Peterborough United fanbase. She is the longest-serving player at the club and her dedication and hard work has paid off, I’m sure she will keep her goalscoring form going for many years to come."
