The Club held the first LGBTQ+ Supporters Group meeting which kicked off to a great start. This initiative is part of the our ongoing commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion with the aim of creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all fans.
Jenna Lusk, Foundation Community Manager & Helen Meadows, HR Manager and Inclusion Lead, said: “For our first meeting to start in Pride Month has been great. The meeting has enabled us to have really good conversations about how we can be more inclusive to the LGBTQ+ community and supporters. Whilst the group that met was small, we have had lots of contact from other supporters who will be joining future meetings, so we’re really pleased that the conversation has started. We believe that football is a game for everyone, and it is important that our stadium and community reflect this ethos.”
