Kwame Poku has scooped the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month for October, making it back-to-back successes.
The Sky Bet League One Player of the Month trophy is not leaving PE2 as Kwame Poku has scooped his second successive award following another impressive month of action.
Poku, who won the September award, has now scooped the October Player of the Month too with Wycombe Wanderers boss Matt Bloomfield winning the Manager of the Month.
Poku said: “I am obviously delighted to win the award and over the moon to be able to win it back-to-back. I am happy with how things have been going and it is all about hard work and trying to be as consistent as I can. While I didn’t score as many goals last month as the previous one, I am just as happy creating goals as scoring them. Hopefully I can keep those numbers strong during the month of November!”
Manager Darren Ferguson said: “It is a fantastic achievement for Kwame to win back to back Player of the Month awards and is wonderful recognition for the way that he has performed. He has followed up his form in September with another strong month in October and has been a real threat. He continues to create and score goals for us and is in a really good place at the minute.”
