The football club are pleased to confirm the appointment of Anthony Limbrick as the Senior Professional Phase Lead within the Academy.
Peterborough United are pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony Limbrick as the new Senior Professional Phase Lead with the role overseeing the under 18s and under 21s within the Academy.
Limbrick, who has just returned to the country following a spell managing in Gibraltar, takes up the position with immediate effect and Academy manager Dan Robinson is delighted to have him on board after an extensive interview process.
“After a thorough recruitment process over the past 2/3 months, we are delighted to welcome Anthony to our senior coaching team. Anthony will oversee the u18s and u21s working closely with Jimmy Unwin, Ryan Semple and Hugh Alban jones.
“His focus is to ensure the players in the top end of the academy reach their potential and we continue to develop players for our first team. Anthony has a wealth of experience in both Academy and first team environments whilst also holding his Pro License.’
Limbrick is excited to get started in his new role. “It was an opportunity that was really attractive, the chance to work at a club that has an excellent record of bringing players through their Academy and working with some brilliant staff within the department.
“I have been here a few days already, getting to know the players and staff and you can see it is a really good environment. I have been coaching for what feels like a lifetime, whether that be in schools when I first started my journey to first team management positions, but I really love working within this particular phase of the Academy, helping players develop and there is a real clear pathway here through to the first team.”
