Posh suffer 2-1 defeat by Blackpool at the Weston Homes Stadium in Sky Bet League One action.
Peterborough United slipped to a 2-1 defeat in Sky Bet League One action on Saturday afternoon as Darren Ferguson's men conceded a deflected 90th minute effort from Karamoko Dembele following a scrappy passage of play.
Posh started the game strongly and in the first half created numerous opportunities in front of goal with Ricky-Jade Jones side-footing wide after a well-worked set-piece with Ephron Mason-Clark and Joel Randall heavily involved.
On 16 minutes, a cross-shot from Randall just eluded Jones in the six-yard box before Archie Collins fired a first-time effort wide of the target.
On 29 minutes, Grimshaw produced a fine stop to keep out a left-footed shot from Jones from a tight angle before the deadlock was broken as a corner was worked short to Burrows, his centre was met at the near post by KYPRIANOU, who headed past the keeper.
Grimshaw was scrambling to tip over a Burrows corner moments later before Randall went into the book for kicking the ball away.
On 55 minutes, the visitors levelled the scores from the spot with LAVERY converting from 12-yards after Jed Steer was penalised for a foul in the box.
Byers saw a header saved by Steer while Kyprianou saw an effort ruled out for offside while Dembele headed over from a Lavery cross after a mistake from Knight.
Lavery was a whisker away from putting the visitors in front with a curling effort that just cleared the crossbar. Burrows fired over on 87 minutes before the visitors stole the points as DEMBELE saw his shot from the edge of the box deflect past Steer.
