Posh will kick-off the Sky Bet League One season with an away game at Reading.
The 2023-2024 fixture list has been released and Peterborough United will begin their Sky Bet League One campaign with a trip to the Select Car Leasing Stadium to face Reading on Saturday 5th August before welcoming Charlton Athletic to the Weston Homes Stadium on Saturday 12th August.
Posh are then back on the road on Tuesday 15th August to take on Barnsley before travelling to Sixfields Stadium to face local rivals Northampton Town on Saturday 19th August. Posh conclude their fixture list in August with a visit from Derby County to the Weston Homes Stadium on Saturday 26th August.
The local derby games with Cambridge United take place on Saturday 11th November (home) and Saturday 24th February (away) while the home fixture with Northampton Town will take place on Saturday 6th January.
Posh are at home on Boxing Day as they welcome Reading while Darren Ferguson’s men kick off 2024 with a trip to Pride Park to face Derby County. Posh are scheduled to conclude the season with a visit from Bolton Wanderers on Saturday 27th April.
All fixtures are subject to change. The Carabao Cup first round draw and the conclusion of the EFL Trophy group stage will also take place today (Thursday).
