Posh to face Colchester United as part of preparations for the new Sky Bet League One campaign.
Peterborough United will face Sky Bet League Two side Colchester United in a pre-season friendly at the JobServe Community Stadium on Saturday 27th July (3pm).
The two sides met during pre-season ahead of the 2023-2024 campaign with the game ending in a 1-1 draw with Jonson Clarke-Harris seeing his early effort cancelled out by a Noah Chilvers spot-kick. The teams also met in the group stages of the Bristol Street Motors Trophy with the U's coming out on top 1-0 over a youthful Posh XI.
Ticketing details for the clash with Danny Cowley's men will be announced in due course.
Posh have confirmed friendly fixtures at Spalding on Tuesday 16th July and Stamford on Friday 26th July. Additional friendly matches will be announced shortly.
