February was another busy month for the Peterborough United Foundation, with all departments continuing to work hard to improve the lives of our local community.
Our February Half-Term Holiday Camps at the idverde Training Ground were as popular as ever. Our camps are the perfect place for your football-loving children to enjoy their time off school. To book your child’s place for the Easter Holidays, click here.
At the beginning of the month, in celebration of the LGBTQ+ community, the EFL and Official Match Ball partners PUMA, revealed an all-new Rainbow match ball, which serves as a reminder that football is for everyone, everywhere.
We also celebrated the Premier League’s More Than A Game campaign, by appointing Luke Cossey as our Community Captain, whilst continuing our hard work with the PL Kicks and Primary Stars initiatives.

The Posh Foundation are currently recruiting for an Apprentice Health and Well-being Officer to join their team. The successful applicant will work across the Foundation’s wide range of health and well-being projects, alongside six hours a week of study towards the apprenticeship.
The Foundation were also delighted to learn that after being named Player of the Game at a recent trial at St George’s Park, Marley from our Boys Scholarship Programme has been selected for the National Football Youth League’s 2024/25 All-Star Team. Marley has already played in one game for the team already when they took on Watford U21’s at the Watford Training Ground- congratulations!
Within our Girls Scholarship Programme, we were proud to find out that Ella and Edyn were named in the National Football Youth League’s Girls All-Star Team. After trialing before Christmas and impressing coaches and scouts, Ella and Edyn will now play in fixtures for the All-Star Squad in the coming months.
Coming up in March, the Posh Foundation will be hosting a Premier League Primary Stars National Football Tournament. Orton Wistow Primary School will be representing the Foundation, having won the regional round before Christmas.
Elsewhere, the Foundation will be supporting various careers days at locations such as Wisbech and Deeping. We’ll also be running assemblies and events for World Book Day for our friends from Deeping, who will be visiting the Weston Homes Stadium for a tour of the ground.
The Women and Girls department are holding a Future Lioness referral event, where players from Peterborough, Cambridge, Northampton and Milton Keynes have the chance to impress England scouts in a bid to join the England pathway.
