Posh Girls Academy hosted Future Lionesses Talent ID Day on Saturday.
Peterborough United Girls Academy were delighted to host a Future Lioness Talent ID day on Saturday (13th May) at the idverde Training Ground, with a number of the next generation female players taking part in the event.
Players were nominated through the Discover My Talent programme and through their club coaches. They took part in 3v3 and 7v7 matches, while the goalkeepers had a specific training session tailored to them
The players were watched by Peterborough United staff and FA staff to identify any players with the potential to play for England one day, showing the characteristics as shown in the PDFs below.

Five players from the Posh Women Girls Academy players, from U12s to the U16s, also took part in the day after being nominated by the club.
The club are holding Talent ID days for next season’s squad, but dates are now limited with registration closed for the session on Wednesday 24th May.
The following dates are still open for registration:
- Friday 26th May – 5:30-6:30pm – Open session for girls in current school years 1-10 (idverde Training Ground).
- Wednesday 14th June – 6:30-8:30pm – Invite only (idverde Training Ground).
- Friday 16th June – 6:30-8:30pm – Invite only (idverde Training Ground).
- Wednesday 28th June – 6:30-8:30pm – Invite only (idverde Training Ground).
