Peterborough United Girls Emerging Talent Centre (ETC) roundup from the week commencing Monday 13th February.
On Monday 13th of February, the ETC girls travelled to London to play fixtures against both Tottenham Hotspur’s ETC and Leyton Orient’s ETCs teams. The under 10s went on and played fixtures against Spurs, with the players of the match being Grace Love and Lacey Elvy.
The under 11s played against both Spurs and Leyton Orient, with the Player of the Match being Rose Smith. The under 12s won two games and lost once against both Spurs and Leyton Orient and Niham Macphee was named Player of the Match for all three games.
The under 14s won all of their six matches comfortably, with the Player of the Match being handed to Lola Cook and Harper Graham. Finally, the under 16s played against Leyton Orient and won comfortably with the Player of the Match being Taya Smith and Rebecca Mears.
Talent ID sessions took place to invite girls who have shown an interest in joining the pathway. These sessions allow us to see the girls play and invite girls in for further trials. More details on upcoming talent ID days will be shared shortly.
