Peterborough United Girls Emerging Talent Centre (ETC) roundup for the weeks commencing Monday 20th and Monday 27th March.
On 22nd March, we hosted Canadian team Kelowna United in a mini tournament. The players were very welcoming and became friends over pizza together after.
There were learning opportunities for both the players and staff off the pitch this week, with the u10s-u16s learning how to cook two dishes for their families. Posh staff hosted Northamptonshire FA as they completed CPD training based on possession and movements to score and were led by external coaches, including Quintin Allen.
In addition, the players have been focusing on their individual development as they have been training in smaller groups as well as attending player reviews with their parents to recognise areas of strengths, weaknesses and setting targets.
From ETC Manager, Chloe Brown:
“We are proud to provide a wide range of opportunities for our players at the club. From online sessions, to smaller groups or bigger groups and different opposition for fixtures. Our players have had so different opportunities over the past two weeks."
