Peterborough United Girls Emerging Talent Centre (ETC) roundup from the week commencing Monday Saturday 14th January.
The ETC U10s group played against Peterborough United Foundation U10s Development Centre. A good all-round performance and created a lot of opportunities in front of the goal.
Later in the week, all age groups had a visit from Posh Women first team stars Nicole Hendrick, where the players had the opportunity to ask her some questions about her journey into football and obstacles she might have faced.
It was also great to see two of our ETC players, Ellie Curson and Edyn Osker, both took part in first team training on Sunday afternoon after their game was postponed due to a frozen pitch. Curson was also promoted to first training on Wednesday and was set to be involved in the matchday squad before the postponement.
From ETC manager, Chloe Brown:
"It is great to get the girls playing matches again after a break over the Christmas period. It is also brilliant to see the link between the first team and the ETC in action with both one of our players training with the first team this week and Nicole coming down to training to meet and inspire the girls."
