Peterborough United Girls Emerging Talent Centre (ETC) roundup from the week commencing Monday 23rd Jan.
ETC is now introducing a new Wednesday gym session for the U14/16 players. These are optional sessions that the older players can sign up for and will allow the players to train alongside some of the development squad and first-team squad, who may also be in the gym.
In the past week, the U12s won their game 3-0 against Peterborough United Foundation Elite Development Centre. Lucy Loades was credited Player of the Match after her solid performance in defence.
Keeping up the winning streak, the U14s won their game 5-1 against Peterborough United Foundation's Elite Development Centre. Harper Graham was credited Player of the Match after her composure and work rate in midfield.
From ETC manager, Chole Brown:
"Getting some game time in for two more squads is a good way to start off the new year. We also are really pleased to get the midweek gym sessions off the ground. This will give our players the opportunity to work on their strengths in a safe environment whilst also being inspired by working alongside senior team players who may be using the gym. The pathway for girls at the club is only getting stronger and giving more inspirational moments for our players."
