Posh will host Sky Bet Championship side Birmingham City at the Weston Homes Stadium in a pre-season friendly.
Peterborough United welcome Sky Bet Championship side Birmingham City to the Weston Homes Stadium for a pre-season friendly on Saturday 29th July (3pm).
The Blues finished in 17th place last season with a total of 53 points and are managed by John Eustace. Ticket details for this fixture will be announced in due course. Posh have already announced friendly fixtures at Stamford and Colchester United with other games yet to be confirmed.
Ahead of the game, Posh Director of Football Barry Fry will be presented with the Football Association’s prestigious 50-year Service to Football Award.
The award celebrates people who have completed 50 years of continuous work within football at any level and recognising and celebrating their commitment to our National game. Without these devoted and passionate people, the game simply wouldn’t exist as it does today.
Fry managed Birmingham for three years in the mid 1990s, winning promotion from the Second Division and securing the Football League Trophy at Wembley in front of a record-breaking crowd.
