Posh to host Bristol Rovers in third round of Emirates FA Cup.
Peterborough United will host Sky Bet League Two side Bristol Rovers at the Weston Homes Stadium in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup following the draw on Monday evening.
Former Posh goalkeeper David Seaman and ex-Arsenal Women star Faye White conducted the draw and Darren Ferguson’s men were one of the teams drawn out towards the end.
The tie will take place in the New Year. Full details of ticket prices will be announced in due course.
Manager Darren Ferguson commented: "It is always important to be at home in any draw so we are pleased about that aspect. You take nothing for granted in the FA Cup, we will need to put in a strong performance to get through to the next round. The competition is important, obviously the Championship is the priority but we want to go as far as we can in the FA Cup, but we have plenty more challenges in the league before then."
