Players from the men’s first team, men’s under 21s and women’s team spent time at the Posh Foundation fun days this week.
It was the first week of the Easter half-term holiday fun days with youngsters enjoying qualified coaching at three different venues in the city including the idverde Training Ground dome and players from the men’s first team, under 21s and women’s first team popped down to sign autographs and pose for pictures.
On Tuesday, Cassie Steward from the women’s team was joined by defenders Benji Mensah, Aaron Powell and Kai Corbett from the under 21s at the Nene Valley Community Centre in Sugar Way and mascot Peter Burrow also dropped by.
On Wednesday, Nathan Thompson and Ephron Mason-Clark were joined by women’s trio Tara Kirk, Zaiga Lacite and Ellie York in the dome at the training ground while on Thursday, defender Kell Watts popped into the fun day in Hampton with women’s player Taylor Dean.
Throughout the week, the players answered questions, signed match day programmes and gave out plenty of high fives as the youngsters enjoyed their Easter break. There will be more player visits next week as the second week of fun days gets underway.
