The Posh Prostate United team are almost at the halfway point of their challenge of running or cycling every day during the month of October.
The Peterborough United Prostate United team, which includes assistant manager Kieran Scarff, Head of Sports Science Lewis Keeble and photographer Joe Dent, have raised just under £2,500 for Prostate Cancer UK, but need YOUR support to help boost the coffers.
During the month of October, the team will have the choice of running/cycling or using the Watt Bike, but it must be completed every day. Those running will be doing 5k every day.
First Team Coach Dale Tonge, Head of Medical Jon Chatfield, Performance Analyst Matt Loades, Kit Manager Ryan Melton, Press Officer Phil Adlam, Under 21s manager Ryan Semple, Head of Academy Professional Development Phase Coach (U21s/U18s) Anthony Limbrick, chef Ricky Stevens and Intern Ben Ewers are all taking on the challenge.
Press Officer Phil Adlam said: "To be approaching the half-way point and to have raised nearly £2,500 is a tremendous effort, but obviously we want more! It is a tough challenge, both mentally and physically, but everyone is putting in 100% and completing it.
"Anything anyone can donate will be gratefully received, it really will make a massive difference. Prostate cancer kills one man every 45 minutes - that's thousands of our teammates, dads, partners and brothers who won't get to see another game."
