There have been some superb efforts for charity throughout 2024 at Posh including the Prostate United challenge in October.
Throughout 2024, staff and players at Peterborough United have been raising money for a variety of charities with first team staff and behind the scenes staff coming together to raise over £5,000 for Prostate Cancer UK during a gruelling month of activity in October.
Assistant manager Kieran Scarff, First Team Coach Dale Tonge, Head of Medical Performance Jon Chatfield, Head of Sports Science Lewis Keeble, Goalkeeping Coach Paul Gerrard, intern Ben Ewers, Lead Professional Development Phase Lead Coach (U21s) Ryan Semple, former club Analyst Matt Loades, Kit Manager Ryan Melton, Training Ground Chef Ricky Stevens, Photographer Joe Dent and Press Officer Phil Adlam all took on the physical challenge, either running or cycling 5k or more every day.
In total, £5,037 was raised for Prostate Cancer UK and Press Officer Phil Adlam said: "We have completed this challenge as a club for a few years now and it is always so rewarding to know that you are making a massive difference both in terms of awareness, but also in terms of the money raised. It was fantastic to raise over £5,000 and a big thank you to everyone who donated."
