Posh U18s face The Wakes on Tuesday evening in the third game of their pre-season programme.
Peterborough United U18s continue their pre-season programme on Tuesday evening (7:30pm) as they face United Counties League Division One side Bourne Town at the Abbey Lawn
The under 18s secured their first victory in pre-season on Saturday afternoon after a 5-4 victory over West Ham United U18s, with Torin Ntege, Tyler Winters, Harley Mills and Joe Davies among the goalscorers.
Bourne Town finished fourth in the United Counties Football League Division One last season, falling short in the play-offs, and U18s assistant coach Hugh Alban-Jones is looking forward to a different challenge for the players.
Alban-Jones said: “It will be a different test to what the under 18s have faced so far. They are a men’s team, step six of non-league and I know they have got some good players. We know it will be a physical challenge, but we will still look to implement our style of play into the game and try to dominate it that way.
“I know supporters won’t have many opportunities to watch the under 18s, so if anyone has a spare evening and want to have a look at the next generation of players, then make sure to get down to Abbey Lawn.”
Supporters can attend the game at the Abbey Lawn on Tuesday evening, with tickets priced at £3.
