Peterborough United U18s welcome Charlton Athletic to the idverde Training Ground on Saturday afternoon (12pm) in the Under-18 Professional Development League.
Jamal Campbell-Ryce’s side return to action this weekend after their fixture against Watford was postponed last Saturday following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, with that game rescheduled for Saturday 12th November.
Gabriel Overton is set to return to the squad after missing the last few games due to injury, with Harry Titchmarsh also set to be involved after featuring in the under 21s trip to Bramall Lane earlier this week.
Defender János Bodnár is unavailable after he received a call-up to the Hungarian U19 national squad and linked-up with the squad earlier this week. The under 18s secured their first victory of the 2022/23 campaign with a 2-0 win over Bradford City.
Campbell-Ryce said: “We can expect Charlton to be an athletic, powerful, strong side and will be a tough test for our players heading into this weekend’s fixture. However, every game is tough in this division and the biggest thing for us is that we want to see our game model coming out. We want to see us competing and trying to dominate the ball, which is very important for me and hopefully the results will follow."
