Posh U21s face The Hornets on Friday afternoon (1pm).
Peterborough United U21s face a trip to Vicarage Road on Friday afternoon (1pm) as they face Watford U21s in the Professional Development League.
The under 21s picked up a point in their last fixture in the league after Lewis Darlington’s second-half strike cancelled out Dan Sassi’s goal as the game ended 1-1 at Burnley Training Centre on Tuesday afternoon.
Posh remain ninth in the table, nine points behind fourth-placed Burnley having played two fewer games, and will look to return to winning ways in London. The Hornets, who compete in the south division of the Professional Development League, are currently bottom of their respective league but have won back-to-back games against Colchester United and QPR.
Defender Kell Watts is set to be involved in the game against The Hornets as he continues his return to full match fitness after a spell on the sidelines, while the rest of the squad will be predominantly filled with under 21s.
Speaking ahead of the game, Professional Development Phase coach, Ryan Semple, said: “We got a good point earlier this week and we will look to continue that ahead of tomorrow’s game. We are aligned to want to play the same way, whether there are tweaks to personnel each game, but it’s a general rule that the style of the play that runs throughout the club can be similar. So, despite whoever is involved tomorrow, hopefully, we can go there and put in a good performance.”

Tickets are now available to purchase from tickets.watfordfc.com, over the phone on 01923 223023, and in-person at the Supporter Services & Ticketing Office at Vicarage Road.
