Posh Women retained and released list.
Following the conclusion of the 2022/23 FA Women’s National League campaign, Peterborough United Women can confirm its retained list for the forthcoming season.
We can confirm a handful of players will depart the football club in the summer, including midfielder Stacey McConville who made 91 appearances over a five-year spell and scored 25 goals, helping the side to promotion to the FA Women’s National League in 2021 and lift two Northants County Cups and we would like to thank her for her service and wish her well for the future.
Defender Kayleigh Aylmer will also leave the club in the summer following an 18-month spell with the club, making 40 appearances for Posh, while Nicole Hendrick will also depart the club after making 19 appearances and recently made the step-up to the first team at the beginning of the season.
Midfielder Beatriz Borque has decided to leave the club in search of first-team minutes as she looks to return to action next season following a lengthy spell on the sideline. Rachel Lawrence has also left by mutual consent and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all the players that have left the Football Club and wish them well for the future.
We can confirm the players that were handed terms last season have agreed to extend for another season, while a handful of players have since been offered terms for the first time ahead of the upcoming campaign.
