Abbey Lawn

Peterborough United Women are delighted to announce that their home games will continue to be played at the JJ Mac Stadium Abbey Lawn, the home of Bourne Town Football Club, for the 2024/25 campaign.

Abbey Lawn is undergoing several renovations over the summer including the construction of two new stands, six-figure changing room refurbishments and a new outdoor bar area.

Chris Good, chairman of Bourne Town, is delighted to continue to help the develop the women’s game in the local area: “We are delighted to announce that Posh Women will once again be using Abbey Lawn as their home ground for the upcoming season. This decision reflects our continued commitment to supporting and enhancing women's football within our community.”

Posh Women’s General Manager, Sam Winch commented: “After discussing plans with Chris, it was clear to see his ambitions and commitment to growing football in the local area. Bourne FC have had a fantastic season and the ground itself has been having a huge facelift over the last few weeks. I’m really excited to continue our partnership over the 24/25 season as Bourne have been fantastic hosts for us.”
