Posh Women record an emphatic win in the Northants County Cup Quarter-Finals.
Peterborough United Women demonstrated their determination to retain the County Cup as they secured a 15-0 win over Bugbrooke St Michael’s in the quarter-finals on Sunday afternoon in blustery conditions at Birds Close.

Tara Kirk doubled the scoring inside three minutes as she tapped in from close range. Posh added a third goal in the fifth minute as a cross into the box was diverted into the net by the hosts. Kirk scored her second of the game inside the ninth minute.

Posh were enforced into a change shortly after with Jess Driscoll replacing Lacite. Bennett struck from distance after the hour mark as the ball snuck into the bottom left corner.
