Posh Women U23s travel to The Rams on Sunday.
Peterborough United Women U23s will travel to Derby County Women Development on Sunday afternoon (2pm) at Moor Farm Training Centre in a top of the table clash in the FA Women’s National League Reserves Midlands Division.
Posh Women U23s are in fine form, having won their last five competitive games, including last weekend’s 5-4 League Plate victory against Leeds United Reserves, with Ella-Mai Bale adding a hat-trick to her goals tally.
Opponents Derby County Development sit at the top of the table, having won all six of their league games this term, including a 3-0 victory over fellow high-performers Lincoln City.

Michael Allesbrook will have more players at his disposal on Sunday after several players are set to return to action following injuries. Taya Smith and Alice Akinyemi are back in contention having been unavailable for last weekend’s fixture. Bronte Cooper and Mia Karagholi remain ruled out through injury.
Derby County forward Isobel Sheridan is currently the division’s top goalscorer, having netted an astounding 20 goals in eight matches in all competitions.
From The Gaffer
U23s Manager, Michael Allsebrook said: “We go into the game in good spirits, having won our last five games, for us, it’s the performances that have been more important to us than the results. The players are continuing to develop and taking responsibility on the pitch, but ultimately, it’s built the momentum up which has led to where we are in the table.
“We are aware that Derby are a very dangerous side, which is why they are at the top of the league. They’ve got some talented players and are well-run. We know we need to work for it to get a result, the players need to be good tactically, technically on the ball and when we get chances, we have to take them."
