Peterborough United Under 18s, and Under 21s’ Professional Development League fixtures for the 2024-25 season have been confirmed.

The Under 18s, who will be led by Jimmy Unwin in his first full season in charge, will kickstart the campaign with a home fixture to Colchester United at the Idverde Training Ground on Saturday 10th August, kick-off 11am.

The team will then head to Wales to take on Swansea City at the Landore Training Ground on Friday 16th (2pm), before welcoming Millwall to PE2 the following Saturday at 12pm.

Last year’s table-toppers Birmingham City will travel to Cambridgeshire on Saturday 26th October (12pm), with Posh hoping to rectify the honours versus their counterparts while the Blues look to maintain their PDL National Title defence.

The festive period includes a home fixture to Burnley on Saturday 12th December (11am), before the team will embark on a journey to East Yorkshire where Unwin’s side will participate in a final clash of the calendar year, with the contest primed to start at 11am on Saturday 14th December. 

A trip to Coventry City awaits on Saturday 11th January (11am), a first runout in the new year before paving the way for a brief break until the next fixture on home soil to Barnsley, February 1st (12pm). 

Posh will end the campaign with respective back-to-back home fixtures to Crewe Alexandra, Saturday 26th May (12pm), and Watford on Monday 5th May, kick-off 11am.

Ryan Semple’s Under-21s will entertain AFC Bournemouth on Tuesday 20th August (1:30pm) to spur the season underway, followed by a quick turnaround as his side make the midweek trip to Colchester United on the Friday, kick-off 7pm.

The busy December period includes a home fixture to Sheffield Wednesday on the 4th December (1pm), before Posh are faced with an excursion to Coventry City six days later, and a home clash with Birmingham City on Tuesday 17th December (1pm); this is preliminary to Semple’s side kicking off the new year with a home contest against Barnsley on Tuesday 7th January (1pm).

Posh will conclude the season with a penultimate fixture at home to Charlton Athletic on Tuesday 29th April (1.30pm), and a trip to the capital where they will face Queens Park Rangers at the Powerday Stadium to wrap up the season on Tuesday 6th May, kick-off 1pm.
