It may only have been just the one session on Wednesday, but the Posh squad left everything out there as they continued their pre-season training camp.
The Peterborough United squad continued to work hard in the sunshine on Wednesday with another intense session of fitness, technical work and concentration.
After pre-hab (an activation session), the players were put through their paces by Head of Sports Science Lewis Keeble before a rondo drill to keep the movement going.
The players were then split into three teams for small-sided games with plenty of superb goals, excellent saves and last ditch blocks as they fought to be the winners.
Manager Darren Ferguson joined in for the majority of the session and was in close proximity to some special strikes, including one from defender Emmanuel Fernandez that gave the goalkeeper absolutely no chance.
Assistant manager Kieran Scarff said: "It is a seven v seven session effectively, it is really intense, the ball is always moving, there are lots of shots and there are plenty of opportunities to attack and defend and the players really enjoy these kind of sessions.
"It was an ideal session to go into Thursday because that is when we will start having a look at a few tactical things ahead of the game with AFC Wimbledon on Friday."
