The Club would like to remind supporters that our Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal Shirt Auction alongside MatchWornShirt closes at 4pm today.
The auction remains open until 3.59pm so you’ll have to bid soon if you want to own a piece of the action from our historic 6-1 derby day win against Cambridge United last weekend when goals from Kwame Poku (3), Ricky-Jade Jones, Malik Mothersille and Ryan de Havilland secured three points.
As a symbol of respect, Posh players wore shirts featuring an emblem of the poppy during the derby day victory and these unique shirts have been signed by the players and are now available to own via auction, exclusively on the MatchWornShirt website and app.
Net proceeds of the auction will be allocated to the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal.
Every donation to the RBL’s Poppy Appeal helps to provide vital support to the Armed Forces community and ensures their unique contribution is never forgotten. Kwame Poku's shirt is currently standing at over £800 and we are looking to achieve a record fundraise this time around for such a valuable charity.
Thank you to all our supporters who have bid so far.
