The School’s Initiative is back for the 2022-2023 campaign with Bobby Copping and Peter Burrow already taking bookings for visits.
The successful Schools Initiative is back for the new campaign! The football club are delighted to confirm that we will continue to visit schools across the region with Bobby Copping leading an assembly alongside mascot Peter Burrow with youngsters getting the opportunity to come and watch Posh in action at the Weston Homes Stadium at selected fixtures free of charge.
The interactive assembly, which features a short DVD and plenty of fun, has grown in popularity over the last few years with the pair visiting over 170 schools in more than six different counties, helping to grow the fan base by creating fans of the future.
Copping said: “Myself and Peter are very much looking forward to getting back on the road and visiting schools so if you want us to come and see you, drop me an email and we can get it arranged. Peter was delighted to see so many youngsters at the stadium last season, some for the very first time, and we hope we have a similar response this year.”
