The Schools Initiative continues to gather pace with over 40 visits completed in just over a month, helping to create fans of the future.
The Peterborough United Schools Initiative continues to inspire the next generation of Posh supporters with Bobby Copping and Peter Burrow already completing assembles at over 40 Primary Schools across the region.
The pair have visited schools within Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and Lincolnshire and are branching out into other counties to provide free tickets for pupils to attend a forthcoming fixture at the Weston Homes Stadium and also at the Abbey Lawn, home of the Posh Women.
The assemblies have proved a big hit at schools with plenty of interactive fun for the children with Peter Burrow understandably proving very popular. Copping said: “We are really pleased to visit over 40 schools within the first month of the initiative and look forward to continuing our tour around the region.
“We have changed up the assembly format a little bit for this season and if any schools want us to come along, please drop me an email at mailto//bobby.copping@theposh.combobby.copping@theposh.com and we can get it in the diary.”
