Alongside the club's successful Grassroots Football initiative, we have relaunched the Schools Programme at selected games this season.
Over the last few years, the football club have delivered a hugely successful Schools Initiative with youngsters across the city and beyond getting the opportunity to watch a Peterborough United fixture FREE of charge and at selected games this season, this programme will be in effect.
Alongside mascot Peter Burrow, the club have delivered school assemblies at Neale Wade Primary, Park Lane Primary, Abbotsmede, Longthorpe Primary and most recently Nene Valley Primary.
The interactive assembly, which features a short DVD, will be delivered across the region for selected fixtures and any school that wishes to book us in can do so by emailing phil@theposh.com.
Press Officer Phil Adlam said: "Our Grassroot Football Initiative has been well received over the last 12 months and the take-up of those attending has been excellent.
"The Schools programme has been going for many years in different forms and is a great way of the club creating Fans of the Future. We have already been to five Primary Schools to hand out free tickets and will be scheduling more as the season progresses."
