After completing the first session under welcome cloud cover, the players were definitely working up a sweat in the afternoon as the temperatures soared in Spain.
The Peterborough United squad have finished their first full day of training and the second session saw the players split into two groups, one working on defending with manager Darren Ferguson and assistant Kieran Scarff, while the attackers were put through their paces by First Team Coach Dale Tonge.
For goalkeepers Jed Steer and Nick Bilokapic, there were plenty of shots coming their way as the wide players and strikers completed a fun drill, with the obvious target to score as many goals as they could.
There were definitely some excellent strikes throughout the afternoon, but there were also some brilliant saves too and throughout the week on Posh+, you will see the best of them.
The players have another double session on the agenda on Tuesday before the rest of the week takes shape ahead of the first pre-season friendly of the campaign against AFC Wimbledon on Friday evening.
First Team Coach Dale Tonge said: "It was the first real session where we have focussed on shooting since we came back for pre-season and there were a lot of good things and a few things to work on, which you would expect at this point.
"The manager and Kieran were working with the defenders and midfield players about building up the attacks from the back and then I was working with the wingers, number 10s and the strikers.
"The first day was really good, we got a lot out of it, not just in terms of fitness, but also in terms of the technical side of the game. The boys are getting better day by day, the training camp is designed to work them hard, but it is geared towards that first game."
