Posh under 21s face the Owls on Tuesday afternoon as they look to build on win over Tottenham Hotspur under 21s.
The Peterborough United under 21s return to Professional Development League action on Tuesday afternoon (1pm) with a trip to face Sheffield Wednesday.
Lead Coach Ryan Semple is hoping his side can build on the 3-0 victory at Tottenham Hotspur under 21s on Saturday when goals from Pemi Aderoju (2) and Emmanuel Fernandez secured an excellent away win.
"There were some very positive individual displays on Saturday and ultimately that led to a very positive team performance.
"It is a quick turnaround for us and that gives us a chance to really build some momentum. We have spoken about ensuring that the lads do the basics right in terms of the mentality and approach.
"We played Sheffield Wednesday at home just before Christmas, they are a very powerful team so we will need to match that physicality."
It is expected that a similar squad will be on duty for the under 21s, but striker Jacob Wakeling won't feature after picking up an ankle injury against Spurs.
