Seven players extend their terms for the upcoming 2023/24 campaign.
Peterborough United Women are delighted to confirm that the following players who were offered terms at the beginning of the 2022/23 campaign have agreed to extend for another season.
Jess Driscoll became the first-ever player to put pen to paper in the club’s history and has committed her future to the forthcoming campaign, alongside club captain Keir Perkins as she enters her ninth season with Posh.
Cassie Steward, Megan Lawlor, Lucie Mugridge and Zaiga Lacite have all extended for another campaign, while forward Tara Kirk will look to build on an impressive first season at the club after finishing as the club’s top goalscorer in the FA Women's National League Division One Midlands.
Manager Dan Lawlor said: “Although it will be incredibly important to add extra quality to the squad ahead of the new campaign, my first priority was to keep hold off the majority of the squad that achieved a fantastic season and I’m pleased to see that we have retained all those players.”
