Posh full-back Jack Sparkes has joined Sky Bet League Two side Chesterfield on-loan until the end of the current campaign.
Peterborough United can confirm that left-back Jack Sparkes has joined Chesterfield in a loan deal until the end of the current season.
Sparkes, who joined Posh following the injury sustained by Rio Adebisi, scored one goal in 28 appearances in all competitions for the club.
Manager Darren Ferguson said: "I had a chat with Jack a couple of weeks ago and it was an honest conversation. Sometimes signings don't work out as well as you would hope.
"We wanted to go in a different direction in that position, which is why we brought in Tayo who I thought performed very well on Saturday."
