A number of staff and players are raising money for charity by participating in Movember and there is still time to donate!
Four Peterborough United players have been joined by Academy and behind the scenes staff at the football club to raise money the Movember Foundation by sporting facial hair for the cause.
Goalkeepers Jed Steer and Nick Bilokapic, defender Jack Sparkes and midfielder Ryan De Havilland have been joined by Academy Director Dan Robinson, Video Producer Euan Rourke, Head of Media & Marketing Clive Edwards, Commercial Executive Harley Meadows and Ticket Office Assistant Will Gore in growing their moustaches during the month of November.
Captain of the Posh Movember team Rourke said: "To have numerous First Team players growing a moustache for a great cause is a really powerful message. This team have openly spoken over the past two months, from the World Mental Health Day campaign video to the interviews conducted at the start of November, and it shows that despite everyone having their own battles with different forms of mental health, there are ways to cope.
"Mental health is a very important subject to me and as someone who has struggled in the past when facing tough challenges in my personal life, I know how important it is to not keep your emotions and thoughts to yourself and look to discuss them with others. I’m trying to raise awareness and money about the taboo subject and hope this challenge can encourage others to speak up when they are struggling themselves."
