Following the club's 'Save a Life' CPR event at the Weston Homes Stadium last month, the Posh Academy invited the East of England Ambulance Service into the training ground.
Last month, representatives from the first team, Under 21s, Under 18s, the Posh Women and Foundation were invited to the Weston Homes Stadium to learn CPR and following that event, the Posh Academy invited paramedics into the idverde Training Ground to provide a session for all of the Under 18s.
Head of Education/Assistant Academy Manager Ben Seymour-Shove, said: "It was great to have the East of England Ambulance Service back at the club to deliver their CPR workshop to our Under 18s players.
"Following working with the wider club recently with the Re-Start a Heart initiative, it was important our players received the same workshop to help understand the importance of the topic, but also to develop confidence should they ever be in a situation where they are required to execute CPR.
"The players really engaged in the session and benefitted from the informative and practical nature of the workshop. Thank you once again to the East of England Ambulance Service and we look forward to seeing them soon to work with our younger Academy age groups."
