The Posh under 18s are back in action on Tuesday lunchtime with a visit from Birmingham City (1.30pm).
The Peterborough United under 18s will be looking to build on the 4-2 victory over Wigan Athletic at the weekend when they welcome Birmingham City to the idverde Training Ground on Tuesday afternoon (1.30pm) in Professional Development League action.
Jimmy Unwin's men came from 1-0 down to secure all three points against the Latics thanks to goals from Max Beech and a hat-trick from Tyler Winters.
Unwin said: "Hopefully we can take the positives from the performance on Saturday into this game with Birmingham and if we can do that and take our chances, then it would have been an excellent few days for us.
"There were a few things that pleased me at the weekend. We have said previously that when we have conceded goals they tend to come in little spurts, we needed to make sure that didn't happen. Joseph Toynton spoke with the lads about ensuring that if they did fall behind, they managed the game better and they did that on Saturday.
"The character shown in the second half was excellent, we deserved the win because we played some good football and defended well when we had to."
