The Posh under 18s welcome Fleetwood Town to the idverde Training Ground on Tuesday afternoon (1pm).
The Peterborough United under 18s return to Professional Development League action on Tuesday afternoon with Jimmy Unwin’s men welcoming Fleetwood Town to the idverde Training Ground (1pm).
Posh were due to be in action on Saturday morning against Hull City, but that game was postponed due to the freezing conditions. Unwin is looking for a positive performance from his side, which is boosted by several players returning from loan.
“It has been a long while since we have had a home game to be honest, so we are looking forward to a game at the training ground against a good side. We have been working hard on the training ground and what we are looking for is to take those good sessions into a match day.
“There have been aspects of our recent performances that I have been pleased about, but we need to be more consistent within games. We need to show grit and determination that when we are under pressure, we can come through the other side unscathed.
“You are always going to come up against good sides and sides that can hurt you, but we can’t concede a goal and let our heads drop and concede again. We should be a more older group for this game with players returning from loan stints and that will help us.”
